SAMRAKSHAN INDIA is a non-profit organization established in 2017 to provide a platform to conserve, restore and preserve our architectural heritage.

Samrakshan India intends to explore the connections between people and architecture and to understand how architecture transforms under different contexts. Samrakshan India aims to conserve the architecture, techniques, crafts, history and the many stories that are inadvertently woven into making of such buildings and spaces of heritage value through documentation, education, collective action, advocacy, outreach, consultation, and influencing policy and legislation. The organization offers to restore and revive such buildings, spaces and communities through adaptive reuse and experiential tourism. Samrakshan India has been involved in projects that have created interest and awareness of Karnataka’s vernacular heritage. Our work in the field of conservation architecture is a testament to our expertise and skill.
